Lucas Buschfeld (*1983 in Cologne) studied photography from 2003 to 2006, at the Köln International School of Design. From 2007 to 2008 he was on a one year study trip with his self built mobile art laboratory. Back in Germany he worked as a graphic designer before he started to study media art at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne in 2009.
Born in the 80s and coming from different backgrounds his work bridges the gap between the eras of analogue and digital art. He developes his own techniques, machinery and tools to create the variety of works. Lucas Buschfeld lives and works in Cologne.
